About me and my practice
My name is Delvine Nomela, and I am a 26 year old lithomancer from Silver Springs, Nevada. I am a Sagittarius, I like green tea, and I still have my wisdom teeth.
Growing up in Nevada, I was surrounded by mining industry, so geology has always been a part of my life. I just felt intensely connected to the rocky landscape and the minerals that make it up. I went on to get my Bachelors degree at UNLV in Environmental and Earth Science with a minor in Geology. Now, I research the use of minerals in culture and spirituality, and I apply that knowledge in what could only be called lithomancy!

Do you really believe this stuff?
That is a complicated question with a complicated answer! I believe that crystals occupy a unique position across cultures around the world, and I think the human psyche is a very powerful thing. Even if you aren't spiritual, crystals can serve as a reminder or token of mindfulness, wealth, or a trait you want to have. Sometimes having a physical "focus" is enough to push things over the edge.

Where do you get your crystals?
I get my crystals from various independent retailers around the USA based on customer need-- crystal hoarding is a slippery slope, and I wouldn't make a very good dragon. I look into the retailer before ordering to make sure they are sourcing their crystals from ethical mining operations. This may cause delay in some orders, as some crystals are rarer and more exploited than others.
